Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to use Fern, including people who use screen readers, zoom, captions or keyboard navigation.

Our goal

We're working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, the standard most websites and apps aim for.

What we're doing

We check color contrast, add labels to buttons and images, support text resizing, and test with VoiceOver and TalkBack. Prices and charts don't rely on red and green alone.

Known gaps

Fern is new and still being built, so some parts may not work perfectly with assistive technology yet. Some videos posted by users may not have captions.
